Sadly, another week has passed during which real life has interrupted my blog posting. However, nothing can stop the Monday Quiz. On this week last year (Mar 17 to Mar 23, 2007):

- Noel Dempsey’s trip cost us €75,000, Martin Cullen’s trip cost us €27,000 and Mary Harney’s trip cost us €17,000.
- Michael Ahern’s trip cost us €52,000, Tom Parlon’s trip cost us €35,000 and Pat ‘the Cope’ Gallagher’s trip cost us €33,000.
- For obtaining €7,000 by false pretences in 2002 and the attempted theft of €7,500 in 2003 as well as five other charges of deception and false accounting, and attempting to implicate innocent people in his theft and fraud.
- Because they were being forced to slop out their prison cells.
- Both planes were hit by lightning.
