- What innovative solution did Fine Gael and Labour propose for dealing with intoxicated people?
- What did Minister Seamus Brennan describe as ‘a dolly mixture approach… where you can have a bit of this and a bit of that and a bit of the other.’
- Why did Michael Flatley buy a new Rolls Royce?

Answers
- Because the two men involved were armed Gardai who were on duty outside the US Embassy. The incident happened the previous year, but news broke this week last year of their suspension from duty, following an internal investigation.
- ‘Drunk Tanks’, with mattresses, where they could sleep off the effects of alcohol.
- Speculation about a Fianna Fail Green Party coalition.
- To bring his fiancee to the Church for their wedding. yes, that’s buy a Rolls Royce, not hire one.
- To eliminate the ‘veto vote’, where most of a group of friends want to go to McDonalds but one of them wants to eat healthily instead. If there is salad on the menu, then the group won’t have to go elsewhere, and McDonalds gets to sell a lot more Big Macs and French Fries.
