Prank Letter - Reply from Trevor Sargent
August 17, 2007
On Wednesday I posted this reply, from Eamon Ó Cuiv, Minister for Gaeltacht Affairs, to this prank letter that I sent to him proposing an Irish Texting Dictionary for young people. I also sent the same letter to Trevor Sargent TD, then Green Party Leader, and here is his reply: >>>

Mr. Phillips, a Chara,
I am delighted to hear about your innovative project in relation to texting through Irish.
Your local Green Party TD John Gormley and I generally communicate through Irish, and we will take up your suggestions in the texting area.
I think you are making excellent progress, and if you come across any obstacles let myself or John know.
He can be contacted by phone at 01 618 3019 or fax on 01 618 4597 or on email at johngormley@eircom.net. My own contact details are as below.
Le gach dea-ghuí,
Trevor Sargent TD,
Party Leader,
Green Party

Thats a more full on reply than I got on the issue of Sellafield.
Sargent would be better served living up to his promise to abolish estate management fees, his constituents from Balbriggan Swords & Lusk are in court on September 20th 2007. GP/FF left the issue outside the prog4govt. shame.
